superb family stay

pool view sea view attentive staff thalassotherapy suite

our room, a suite, offered great pool and sea views, capturing the morning sun. it was quite spacious. breakfasts were great (especially the fresh fruit selection!). the staff were always attentive and helpful. i used the thalassotherapy suite, a very nice addition.

the hotel boasts direct beach access and is conveniently situated between the marina and the harbour. many local restaurants are easily accessible. getting around to explore the area is very straightforward.

i found the staff to be warm and friendly, consistently going the extra mile. guest relations were responsive (and gave a voucher for the japanese restaurant). the rooms were cleaned twice a day, an appreciated touch. the reception staff were also very helpful.

the staff were very helpful. we enjoyed the breakfast a lot. the location suited us since it was on the beachfront. i appreciated that the hotel refunded the remaining days after my brother passed away. The service was excellent.

i found the hotel did not meet my expectations. i booked a suite, but the view from the balcony overlooked a tree. the suite seemed a bit dated. the nicest restaurant always had queues, so i could not experience it.

our suite included many treats such as slippers, a tote bag, and flip flops. daily water was provided. chocolates were placed on the pillow. the air conditioning worked very quietly.

the reception staff provided champagne upon arrival. they gave all needed information. the staff remained very helpful throughout the week. the porters offered friendly and kind assistance at all times.

the food was excellent with a great choice (i especially liked the seafood).

the pools were freezing, even after i complained to guest relations several times. they blamed the weather, but it took way too long to heat them to a reasonable temperature.

i found the food to be excellent with a great choice available. the hotel had great sea views and was literally on the beach. there were great size pools for swimming. (i especially enjoyed swimming in the pools).

the breakfast was somewhat repetitive in what was on offer. i thought the hacienda breakfast room was somewhat chaotic. i could understand that it is the most popular room from a scenic viewpoint. (however, it was not the best experience).
